DAVID YURMAN

  • Senior Imaging Lead
    2016–2023

  • Owned final image quality across all campaign, e-commerce, print, and retail photography — color, lighting, and product representation — for a global luxury brand.

  • Worked directly with the CEO, CFO, and David Yurman on campaign concepts: proposed and sketched ideas, made color decisions, and helped select shoot talent.

  • Built the e-commerce background and color standards from scratch, and wrote the retouching handbook the studio ran on.

  • Directed freelance and external retouching teams; ran same-day banner delivery and overnight Met Gala uploads without dropping brand standards.

  • Maintained a 97.5% white background standard across all ecommerce photography — a scalable process built so freelancers and outsourced retouchers could hit the standard without supervision. Still live on davidyurman.com."

COLOR STREET

  • Part of a four-person creative core — two lead photographers, a stylist, and myself as the sole imaging and production resource — responsible for all post-production, asset management, and visual delivery for the entire company.

  • Worked directly with the CEO, CFO, and founders on creative decisions from conception through final usage, serving as the primary visual production resource across all departments.

  • Produced and distributed multi-channel launch campaigns across all platforms from concept through publication.

ABOUT

I lead the photography, retouching, and production teams that turn a brand's ideas into finished campaigns.

For luxury and high-volume brands, I've owned final image quality from concept to delivery — campaign, e-commerce, print, and retail. At David Yurman I worked directly with the CEO, CFO, and David Yurman himself on campaign concepts, color, and talent selection, and wrote the imaging standards the studio ran on.

At Ideeli I built and ran the content operation from launch through the company's acquisition by Groupon — scaling daily output and managing production across New York, Tennessee, and Bangladesh.

Across my career I've worked the full range of high-end imagery — luxury campaigns, editorial, fine-art reproduction, and gallery printing — for clients including Saks Fifth Avenue, Tourneau, Condé Nast, and Artstor.

I build the systems that keep a studio shipping on deadline, I lead the team, and I still do the work myself. I'm also a working artist — MFA, SVA — with solo and group exhibitions in New York and Boston. Work reviewed by The New York Times and The Boston Globe. I build with the new AI tools rather than avoid them.
